If you enjoy outdoor activities, we have a fabulous role for a Support Worker to provide two-to-one support to our client with Autism and severe learning disabilities.

If you enjoy outdoor activities, we have a fabulous role for a Support Worker to provide two-to-one support to our client with Autism and severe learning disabilities. There will be lots of opportunities to take long walks and appreciate the outdoors together. Living in the beautiful village of Great Wakering, our client has access to a vehicle, so a full UK drivers’ licence is essential.

Our client shares a supported living home with their sibling. They have complex needs that can present physical challenging behaviours. Your role as Support Worker will require you to take direction with all elements of daily living so assisting with food and drink, toileting needs, medication, and finances. Continuity and routine are extremely important, so someone who is dedicated, and understanding will really help them live a meaningful and fulfilled life.

You will accompany the client to the day centre that they visit several times a week.

We have Contract, Part Time, Permanent & Temporary positions available

Various regular shift patterns and rotas available: 07:00 – 2:30, 14:30 – 22:00, 22:00 – 07:00 (awake night)

We can offer continuity and consistency with long term rotas in the packages we support.

You will need some experience …

To apply for this role, you will need to have previous experience in the care sector, supporting individual(s) with Autism and learning disabilities.

A UK driving license is essential

I feel I would like to give a positive review on working for ENS in any care capacity. The excellent dedicated back office support staff and they clearly understand their clients’ needs which are aligned to the qualities of the Support Workers, this helps builds the relationship.
